Riverside Run Registration

is Now Open!

The Riverside Run on Saturday, May 11th is a community event that takes participants on a scenic three-mile course through the neighborhood of Riverside. It also includes a series of “Fun Runs” in front of Riverside School for all children in grades K-5.

The three-mile race starts at 8:30am and the Fun Runs will begin at 9:30am. For more information visit the Riverside Run page.

Little Pub Fundraising Day

Wednesday, May 1st

On Wednesday, May 1st, Little Pub will donate 10% of net sales between the hours of 5:00-7:00pm (dine-in or take out) to the Riverside Run. Take a night off from cooking and support the run! Make your reservation now! 

Little Pub is located at 531 East Putnam Avenue in Cos Cob.

CPS Class Offering for

Riverside Parents

The Riverside PTA has teamed up with Greenwich Emergency Medical Service (GEMS) to offer a CPR certification course for Riverside parents on Thursday, May 16th at 6:00 pm. To sign up, or add yourself to the waitlist if all spots are filled, follow this link. 

Order Your School Supplies

for 2024-2025

The PTA is once again sponsoring a school supply fundraiser for the upcoming school year. Order now and your child's box of supplies will be delivered directly to the classroom by the first day of school. Please visit the SchoolKidz Teacher Tailored website starting on April 30th and enter account number 83285. The site will close on June 4th.  

 Get Ready for Fitness Week’s

“Run Across America” 

During recess from May 6-8, Riverside will face the challenge of running across America while training for the upcoming Riverside Run! Students will run or walk laps, which will be tracked collectively to see how far we, as a school, can get across the country. Stay tuned for more details and how to volunteer during recess times.

National Walk or Bike to School Day

Wednesday, May 8th

Get some exercise. Reduce traffic. Save the Planet. Wednesday, May 8th is National Walk or Bike to School Day! The Health & Wellness and Green Committees encourage students to bike, walk or scoot to school on this day. Committee members will be outside the school cheering on students and families who participate. Get Out and Get Active!

Buy your tickets to Social Awakening Parenting Talk with Max Stossel on Thursday, May 2nd, at 7:00pm, at Eastern Middle School.
