The parent volunteers of the Communications & Technology team help parents navigate the PTA's array of programs and events through the use of our digital platforms, including our website, event ticket sales, emails, newsletters, notifications, secure photo sharing and more. These tools assist the PTA in staying connected with the parent community.

Electronic Communications - We work with stakeholders to communicate important information to the entire parent community via emails, newsletters, notifications on the app, etc. Information regarding upcoming events, ticket sales, volunteer signups, and more gets distributed via these forms of communication.

We work with PTA committees and the Co-Presidents to draft a weekly "Peek at the Week" newsletter sent via email every Friday.  It contains important PTA, district and community news, key dates & deadlines, and other information. Read it each week to stay up to date! 

 

 

 

 

Our calendar on rivpta.org can be accessed online, via our website or the Membership Toolkit app. Sync to your own calendar to never miss a PTA event or important school event again. We also add links and details to the events so that you can have all the information at your fingertips.

 

 

 

 

  

 

We coordinate press releases for specific events with committee chairs and the Principal to inform the public of notable programs & events taking place at Riverside School, and of special accomplishments of students, teachers, staff, and PTA.

The Riverside Reel is the PTA’s secure media share site featuring photos & videos from PTA events and programs at Riverside School. 

 

PTA photographers may not be able to capture every moment. To that end, if you have photos from any PTA events and programs, please send them to riversidereel@gmail.com.  If possible, please include the full name and homeroom of students pictured, a brief description and the approximate date of the photo.
