Fifth Annual Holidays for Haiti

Thanks to everyone who decorated cards for Haitian students!

If you are decorating cards at home, please drop them in

the designated bins outside the school by Monday, November 21

We are still accepting donations to support

Danita's Children through Monday, November 21

Haiti is the poorest country in the western hemisphere and has been plagued by poverty, hardship, natural disasters and political crises. For the past four years, Riverside School has graciously supported Danita's Children Orphanage & School with our annual Holidays for Haiti. We look forward to continuing the tradition of generosity and spreading holiday cheer to children who otherwise would not have much to celebrate. This year our event will once again be - IN PERSON! If you are unable to attend our in-person event on November 18, you can still participate virtually!

Riverside families have the opportunity to personally connect with a Haitian child by selecting their photo, decorating a card with a holiday greeting, and enclosing a photo of themselves. The money raised will be used to purchase a holiday gift to go with the personalized cards for each student as well as provide a school-wide party. The Riverside School-sponsored holiday party is Danita’s Children’s favorite day of the year! Any additional funds raised will go to school needs and Danita’s Children’s Malnutrition and Medical Center. Thank you, Riverside School!
Please use this link to give people outside the Riverside School Community an opportunity to participate:
