ANNOUCING THE WINTER MUSICAL - THE WIZ OF OZ!

 

  

 

Get ready for The Wiz of Oz, a magical mash-up where the classic story of The Wizard of Oz meets the soul, sparkle, rhythm, and high-energy spirit of The Wiz! Performances will take place on January 15 and 16 (Martin Luther King Jr. weekend), and registration will happen later this month.

The Winter Musical is made possible by parent volunteers and cannot happen without them. We are in need of parents to help lead committees that help with costumes, props, sets, and rehearsals. Theater and dance experience is helpful but not necessary.

 RIVERSIDE RECYCLES!

Not sure what to do with last year's school supplies? Check out our recycling collection bins in the school entryway. You can drop off old crayons, pencils, binders, empty glue bottles, and more supplies for the Staples Recycling Program, as well as used and expired batteries to be taken to Holly Hill Resource Recovery Center. 

Keep an eye out for seasonal drives including Halloween costumes and winter coats.

NEED EXTRA TIME IN THE MORNING? WE'VE GOT YOU COVERED!

From 7:15am until school opens, your child can enjoy supervised activities like reading, arts & crafts, puzzles, and games with a Riverside teacher through the Early Morning Program.  

Here’s how it works:

1. "Enroll" your child in EMP: We recommend all parents enroll their children at the beginning of the year to make drop-in opportunities more accessible. There is no payment required for enrollment. The form takes 1 minute to complete.

2. Submit payment when needed: Once enrolled, when your child needs to attend, simply fill out the payment form to submit payment in advance and indicate the day your child will attend. The drop-in rate is $18 per child per day.
