Thursday's BET Budget Vote Determines if

Renovation Can Proceed

The BET’s annual budgeting process will conclude when it votes on the budget and capital plan at its April  3rd Decision Day from 9am-5pm in the Town Hall Meeting Room. This meeting is open to the public. It will also be live streamed on GCTV's YouTube channel

If the BET approves $2mm A&E/Design funds in next year’s capital budget, the Riverside renovation project can move forward (pending RTM approval). If you’d like to express or reiterate your support for the renovation project, we encourage you to contact the BET. Every voice counts!

Visit the renovation webpage for additional information.

We Want YOU on Our Team!

Volunteer for the PTA Next Year

The Riverside PTA is an active volunteer organization dedicated to supporting the education of our students and the needs of our school community. Volunteering is a terrific way to engage with the school and community. We are now filling a variety of PTA volunteer roles for the 2025-2026 school year.

Please review our open roles and complete the volunteer interest form to express interest in one (or more) of our volunteer opportunities! Whatever your interests or availability, we have many ways for you to contribute and make a positive impact.

Support Elodie and EB Research

with "Butterfly Baggies"

Starting Monday, March 31st, Student Council will sell "Butterfly Baggies" at 3:15pm pick up.  All proceeds will go directly to support research for Epidermolysis Bulosa (EB) as we stand with Riverside second grader, Elodie.

At just $5 each, the Butterfly Baggies include butterfly stickers, tattoos, post-its, bubbles, slap bracelets and pens (while supplies last and contents may vary). Want to make an even bigger splash for EB? Sign up to take the Plunge for Elodie on Saturday, April 5th, at Rye Playland—a fun and meaningful way to support this important cause.

Community Service Club (Grades K-3)

Wednesday, April 2nd

The next Community Service Club meeting will take place on Wednesday, April 2nd from 3:15-4:00pm in the Media Center. All students in grades K-3 are welcome! Please register here by April 1st at noon.

At this meeting, students will be learning about Epidermolysis Bullosa, a group of genetic rare skin disorders that cause extreme fragility of skin, leading to blisters and tearing. We will be learning about the annual Plunge for Elodie and will discuss ways that we can support the greater rare disease community.
