Join us for our virtual PTA General Meeting on Wednesday, October 8 at 9:15-10:30am via Zoom! We are thrilled to be featuring an interactive presentation by Dr. Chris Bogart, PhD, on the topic of "Raising Confident and Resilient Kids." Dr. Bogart is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and the Executive Director of the Sasco River Center in Darien.
We will begin the meeting with a few minutes of PTA business items, followed by Dr. Bogart's presentation and Q&A, where you’ll gain practical strategies to help your children build self-confidence, develop healthy coping skills, and thrive through challenges like stress and anxiety. If you have a specific parenting question you would like Dr. Bogart to address, please email us at RiversideSchoolPTA@gmail.com.
The PTA Volunteer Fair
is Now Online!
Whether you couldn't make it to this morning's PTA Volunteer Fair or you attended but didn't get to sign up for everything you were interested in, we've got you covered—the Volunteer Fair is now online!
Take a moment to browse and let us know where you’d like to get involved. The online form will be available through September 19th. Note: To submit your areas of interest, you must have an updated profile on RIVPTA.org.
Our school community counts on the PTA to deliver an array of events, programs and initiatives that enrich classroom curriculum, support teachers and staff, enhance the school campus, and strengthen the community.
To do this, we rely on the generosity of Riverside School families via our annual Membership Drive, one of the PTA’s most important fundraisers. While your participation is voluntary, we do aim for 100% participation in our Membership Drive. The PTA does a lot – and we couldn’t do it without your support!

LAST CALL:
Apply to Join the Building Committee
The Board of Selectman has voted to formally establish the Riverside School Building Committee—the next step in the renovation process. The Town of Greenwich will be looking for candidates with experience in architecture, project management, construction, and legal contracts to join the building committee.
Greenwich residents who are looking to volunteer their time and talent to this project can apply now (and throughout the summer) to be considered. Serving on a building committee is a multi-year commitment which, for much of the time, will require weekly or twice monthly meetings.
Learn more about school building committees here. Visit the renovation webpage for more information about the renovation project.
