The Riverside Run is a community event consisting of a 3-mile scenic run through the Riverside neighborhood, followed by a 1/4-mile Kids Fun Run at Riverside School. Proceeds of the event benefit PTA programs that enrich classroom curriculum, support teachers and staff, and strengthen the school community. All are welcome to participate with medals awarded to top finishers.

Join the team to volunteer to help organize this amazing community event taking place on Saturday, May 9, 2026! There are volunteer roles both big and small. Roles leading up to race day include publicity, sponsorship, course permitting and volunteer coordination. If day-of volunteering is more your speed, you can help with race registration, passing out medals, handing out water, and more.

A 3-mile scenic course through Riverside. The race begins on Hendrie Avenue in front of Eastern Middle School.
