1. Designated Purpose and Location: Parent volunteers must serve a specific purpose and are expected to remain in the designated area for the task or activity they have been assigned. Volunteers are not permitted to roam the building or engage in activities outside their assigned role. All volunteers must work under the supervision of a certified Riverside staff member, in accordance with the two-tiered system followed by Greenwich Public Schools.

2. Professional Conduct: While we acknowledge that parent volunteers may have personal relationships with students outside of school, it is crucial that they maintain the same level of professional ethics as any staff member while in the building. This includes adhering to all Board of Education policies regarding the confidentiality of student information, as well as rules on security, smoking, and the use of alcohol. Volunteers are expected to respect the privacy, rights, and confidentiality of all students.
